Munnar is my favourite Hill station.
Munnar is on Western Ghats(Sahyadri). Munnar is in Idukki district, Kerala.
There are so many sight seeing spots in munnar. On the way to Munnar we can see water falls and refresh our mind.
The name Munnar is because of three rivers(Muthirappuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly).
In munnar we can see Neelakurunji, a flower which blooms once in twelve years.
One time in munnar we have gone to Kulukkumalai, very less people know about this place. We can see beautiful panoramic views of munnar from here. Around 8000 feet above the sea level. Only jeeps can travel the rough bumby route. Our vehicle will park there and rest of the journey, about 20KMs in Jeep.
So many private trucking properties are there in munnar. We have gone for trucking, it cost around 500 Rs per person. We truck long way and at last reached the destination. The destination is in Tamilnadu. We buy some non veg items from munnar town. We trucked around 4 PM and reached destination by 7PM. In the destination they arranged camp fire for us. We cooked the non veg items in the fire. The temperature was 2 degree celcious. We sleeped in sleeping bags. It remembered us our big sack.
